i'd like to think
that after a God-ordained courtship done the right way
i'd marry a scruffy, adventuresome, intelligent,
mountain-y, left-handed red head,
with the last name Mc________,
and travel the country together, husband and wife.
build a home, a life, in a city of our own,
have cute, ridiculously smart red-headed angels,
and i would spend lazy saturdays in pajamas making pancakes for my sweet family.


i'd also like to think that God has other (read: better) plans.
(which hopefully still includes me making pancakes for my sweet family).
